I'm really enjoying puttering along with my EPP. Now that I have made the 'pattern' I'm trying to decide what to do to square it up because I have decided to make this into a cushion. I'm not sure I love the idea of trying to applique it onto a base fabric (not a lot of faith in my ability to do this neatly) so I'm thinking of filling in around the pattern with more dark blue pieces until it is big enough for me to square off. Is there an option 'C' I haven't thought of?
Make a round cushion?! It's gorgeous, whatever you decide!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and intricate looking - sorry I can't offer any techinical advice.
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous! You could cut a backing piece the same shape and have a flower shaped cushion! I actually think it would be beautiful as a circle cushion like Susan said and you wouldn't need to add as many pieces! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is really gorgeous! No genius idea but I am sure yu will find one that is perfect for it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I can see that it would look quite different on different fabric. More blue, and it will look like spokes, but a different colour and it will look like a flower. Both would look good. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful :)
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric choices! I don't think appliqueing it would be too much of a mission if you pinned it well.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the idea of the round cushion!
