After amusing myself with the stained glass effect, I put the block on the floor near the window to get a 'proper' shot. Honestly, Coco has the whole house to run around and plenty of cozy places to sleep, but the minute I put fabric on the floor she appears out of thin air and has to plonk her butt down on it!
I made a mosaic to see what 16 of these blocks would look like. Obviously they would all be different. What do you think? Too much??
Linking up over at Lee's:
Not too much for me - I love it and think it would make a stunning quilt :)
ReplyDeleteThe colors here are beautiful. I don't think it's too much at all.
ReplyDeleteI really like it and the colors you chose.
ReplyDeletenot too much - i love it! that blue is fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteI like it! You could alternate the direction of the blocks for a different look.
ReplyDeleteMy cat has similar habits!
Not too much! I think it looks cool.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric! I'm a fan of the stained glass look of quilt blocks too hehehe!
ReplyDeleteI think it'd make a fab quilt! If you get all the blocks and find they are a bit much together, you could always break it up with a bit of sashing?
this is a very interesting piece....I really like it
ReplyDeleteLove these colors and cute Coco!
ReplyDeleteGreat colours! Frauke
ReplyDeleteThis looks great and imho NO it isn't 'too much'. And the kitty is awesome. Mine always did that too - what IS it?!?!
