Cutting...cutting...

I spent some time with my friend Frauke yesterday cutting cutting cutting. Frauke is new to quilting, but she has taken to it like a duck to water. She is happy to pay attention to cutting very precisely -

... and like any other quilter, she can't wait to start laying out the pieces even before they are all cut!

We are going to make the same quilt using different fabrics, so I guess we're having a little quilt-along for two! I decided the large triangles would be a great way to show off the lovely prints in my bundle of Tradewinds by Lily Ashbury. 

We both cut all our triangles on Saturday, so now the fun part can start!
